My Travel Highlights

In December 2020, an unforgettable journey unfolded as my then-boyfriend and I braved the chilly Beijing weather to hike Jinshanling's section of the Great Wall. Despite the challenging terrain, the promise of a surprise kept me going. Five hours later, we reached our destination just as the sun began to set, painting the sky with hues of orange and red.

As I was preparing for a sunset snapshot, he suddenly produced a ring, getting down on one knee amidst the stunning backdrop. Overwhelmed with joy and surprise, tears welled up in my eyes, the fatigue of the hike forgotten in the face of his beautiful proposal. That gentle sunset now holds an extra special meaning - it is the moment I agreed to spend forever with my now-husband.
