Tour Highlights

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Our travel adviser Albee Ning prepared a wonderful itinerary taking us to great locations with creative activities highlighting local culture.
We traveled with Asia Highlights (Lissie was our agent) several years ago when we went to Saigon, and the experience was so positive, we automatically went to Asia Highlights again for an extensive trip to Southeast Asia.
Itinerary Details
The itinerary below is only a typical sample and you may alter any aspect of it. Tell us your needs and our travel advisors will tailor-make it to meet your requirements.
Meals provided: lunch
First, we would leave Cappadocia and head east, through Kayseri, where you could see a well-preserved staging post on the ancient Silk Road called Seljuk Caravanserai.
Also en route are Pinarbasi, a small town famous for its spring water; Tekir, where photographers love to take pictures of the stunning valley scenery; and Kahramanmaraş, hometown of the well-known Turkish ice-cream.
Finally, you would arrive at Kahta, where you could check in and freshen up at your hotel, then take a bus to the base of the footpath, climb Mount Nemrut, and enjoy its glorious sunset.
Mount Nemrut, located in the east of Turkey and rising to 2,150 meters (7,050 feet) of altitude, has the highest open-air museum in the world. You would see a number of huge statues erected around what is assumed to be the royal tomb of King Antiochus I of the 1st century BC.
Meals provided: breakfast and lunch
Get up early if you would like to witness a spectacular sunrise. Enjoy a stroll, nothing too strenuous, and wonder how the giant stone carvings could be formed on the top of the mountain. Have impressive photos taken there, which you could treasure with your memories.
Then, head back to your hotel, have a late breakfast, and pack for your journey back to Cappadocia.
A visit to the ruins of Arsameia, once the capital of the Commagene civilization almost 2,500 years ago, as well as the ancient Roman Cendere Bridge, which is still used today, would be arranged on the way.
Your historical journey would end in Cappadocia in the evening of the day. We hope this trip will allow you to make enviable and indelible memories.
