Itinerary Details
Istanbul is a city that lives on after sunset. This is especially true in Taksim, where our night food tour takes place. We will introduce you to the lively nightlife and dazzling streets of Taksim, where you will be amazed by the local food and entertainment.
Among other things, you will get to try Turkish tea and coffee, kebabs, raki, and mezes on this night food tour.
Your private guide will meet you in the hotel lobby. To experience life as a local, you will take public transport to the heart of night food culture — Taksim.
We will start with a snack that is often sold on the streets called simit. This crispy, sweet snack is the perfect companion to Turkish tea, and it is irresistibly delicious when it is fresh from the oven.
Next, you can try a snack with an interesting appearance — Midye dolma (stuffed mussels). The stuffing is usually made up of herbed rice, pine nuts, and currants. This is a relatively new street food and a favorite among night foodies.
Then, it's time to get social! In an ocakbaşı, you will experience a Turkish "social barbecue." Sitting by a fire, you can grill kebabs with friends and enjoy raki.
Finally, you will end the night at a Turkish tavern with dance and music. No matter how old you are, you can indulge in the wonderful rhythms and delicious food. Treat yourself to more raki and mezes, and end this legendary night with a full stomach.
Your guide will take you back to your hotel.

The meeting time is 6 p.m. Your personal tour guide will arrange pickups at hotels in the following vicinities: Sultanahmet, Sirkeci, Laleli, Aksaray, and Taksim. Pickups outside these areas may incur an extra charge. Speak to our staff if you have any questions.
