Itinerary Details
The itinerary below is just one of many possibilities and is offered to inspire you to explore the charms of Marakesh. We can create your ideal tour based on your needs. Please let us know your preferences, and our travel experts will customize a trip to suit your interests, tastes, and budget.
The morning cooking class will be fun and educative for anyone, from beginners to professionals, and especially those who wish to discover the pleasures of Moroccan cooking.
In the enchanting setting of a patio by the pool, a dada, the nanny who traditionally takes care of the children and the cooking in large families, shares her secret tagine recipe with you.
Participants will work in a small group with easy-to-use equipment that can be found in the simplest of kitchens. A brief presentation on Moroccan cuisine precedes each session.
In each workshop session, participants learn to make a dish from a particular menu. The first to reserve their place in the workshop will have the privilege of choosing the menu.
At the end of each workshop, participants can enjoy the dishes they have prepared for lunch in the shade of the olive tree on the private patio.
After lunch, your guide will accompany you to the bright blue buildings of Majorelle Garden, which was built in the 1920s. It took French painter Jacques Majorelle (1886–1962) forty years of passion and dedication to create this enchanting garden in the heart of the Ochre City.
After years of neglect, the garden was finally taken over and restored by the fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé.
Next stop, one of the most extraordinary imperial palaces of Morocco, Bahia Palace, was built in the late 19th century. It was intended to capture the essence of the Islamic and Moroccan styles. You will have great photo opportunities when visiting.
Finally, enjoy a great view of the Atlas Mountains from the Manara Gardens.
