- Upon arrival at Thessaloniki Airport, you will be met by our local driver representative and transferred to your hotel in Athens.
- The rest of the day is free for you to gain first impressions of this vibrant and historic city.
Agios Dimitrios- Begin your explorations by visiting the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki. Marvel at the gold and silver treasures along with numerous artifacts from the region of Central Macedonia.
- Continuing our exploration, you will encounter traditional architecture at the Paleochristian Church of Saint Demetrios, dedicated to the city's patron saint, along with its catacombs.
- Venturing towards the city center, you will delve into the Roman era's history, appreciating the striking Monument of Rotunda and the renowned Arch of Galerius.
- Our tour concludes by the sea, where you will encounter the city's iconic landmarks: the White Tower and the statue of Alexander the Great, a symbol of Macedonia.
Aigai Ancient City ruins- After breakfast, embark on a drive to Kalambaka and make a stop at Vergina to visit the Archaeological Site of Aigai.
- Visit the impressive burial site of Macedonian royalty, featuring Philip II's tomb, father of Alexander the Great. Admire detailed frescoes that depict ancient Macedonian life and culture within the royal tombs.
Monasteries built on towering cliffs- Morning short drive to Meteora. You will visit 2 or 3 out of the 6 active monasteries, but you will also visit the hidden monasteries and the Hermit Caves! Avoid the crowds and discover all the hidden gems!
- As leaving the magnificent Meteora behind, you will continue to visit the picturesque Kastraki village and Kalampaka town.
- Drive to Ioannina this afternoon.
Lake Pamvotis- Private Transfer from Kalambaka to Ioannina.
- Discover Ioannina city by yourself this afternoon. With a serene ambiance, stunning lake vistas, and remarkable ancient architecture, this inland city boasts charming green areas, near a breathtaking national park, just a short drive away.
Village of Vitsa- Start your day with a visit to the highlights of the old town, including the Castle of Ioannina, home to Ali Pasha's tomb, and the Aslan and Fethiye mosques, showcasing the enduring Ottoman influence. Take a brief boat ride to the island at the heart of Lake Ioannina to tour the Ali Pasha Museum.
- Next, depart Ioannina for the picturesque central Zagori region, boasting 46 charming villages known as Zagorochoria in Greek, offering a scenic winter landscape. Immerse yourself in local culture and explore key sites like Kokkori and Kalogeriko Bridge, Kipoi Village, Aristi and Papigo villages, the Rogovou rock pools, and the enchanting Mikro Papigo village.
Ferry- We will drive you from Ioannina to Igoumenitsa, and then take a ferry to Corfu. The driving distance is around 2 to 3 hours.
- Once you reach Corfu, you can explore the island at your own pace.
Corfu restaurant- Learn all about Corfu's exciting history and its rich heritage, while now and then slipping down a narrow side street, to find and taste some of the city's most famous culinary delights at some of the best shops, cafés, and restaurants!
- Strolling through the colorful and picturesque alleyways, winding stone steps lead to vantage points with breathtaking views. Dotted around the town, remnants of the massive old city walls, evoke images of battles long past but not forgotten.
- Along the way, many tasting stops will allow you to meet the local traders and food artisans and give you a chance to savor the multiculturally influenced cuisine of Corfu.
Vlacherna Monastery and Mouse Island- Visit this beautiful Achilleion Palace once owned by Empress Elisabeth of Austria, surrounded by lush gardens and offering panoramic views.
- Enjoy the views of Kanoni Peninsula and visit Mouse Island with the Vlacherna Monastery and Pontikonisi.
- Explore the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Asian Art, and the Serbian Museum, among others, to delve into the island's history and culture.
