Suggested Itinerary for Inspiration
Your preferences design the real journey. We're ready to create a wonderful Greece tour for you.
- Upon arrival at Athens Airport, you will be met by our local driver representative and transferred to your hotel in Athens.
- The rest of the day is free for you to gain your own first impressions of this romantic city.
- Start with a visit to the city center. Visit Syntagma Square, where you can witness the fascinating Changing of the Guard ceremony in front of the Hellenic Parliament.
- Before ascending to the Acropolis, you will see Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium, famed for holding the first modern Olympic Games in 1896.
- Then explore the ancient citadel — the Acropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the symbol of the city. Located on a hilltop, it offers breathtaking views of Athens. The Parthenon is the most iconic and well-preserved structure on the Acropolis.
- The day's touring completes the visit with the Acropolis Museum.
- Delphi was considered by the ancients Greeks to be the center of the world and a religious center. You'll see the archeological sites — the Temple of Apollo, theater, market, the famous Omphalos ('Navel of the Earth'), and finally the Delphi Museum with its amazing sculptures.
- There will be a short stop at the traditional village of Arachova, sitting scenically on a hillside, before your return to Athens.
- Board the ferry from Athens to Santorini. Upon arrival at the pier, you will be transferred to your hotel.
- The rest of the day is open to your choice of sightseeing: enjoy the unique caldera views or take a walk to see Fira town with its beautiful whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and open-air cafés that hang on steep cliffs.
- Spend a full day discovering Santorini's ancient history, local culture, and famous views on this great-value highlights tour.
- Explore the Minoan archaeological site at Akrotiri, swim at the black-sand Perissa Beach, and observe traditional island life in the village of Megalochori.
- Take panoramic-view photos from Prophet Elias Monastery, sip volcanic wines at a winery, and finish the day with an unforgettable sunset seen from Oia village.
- Your boat will arrive at Santorini's active volcano after a short 10-minute trip. Follow a small path to reach the caldera top where the active craters are located. There you can take pictures, see the still-smoking rocks smelling strongly of brimstone.
- Then, depart for the island of Palaia Kameni where hot springs and famous natural mud baths were created after volcanic eruptions. You will have the opportunity for warm-water swimming there.
- We'll provide a transfer to Santorini airport for your flight to Athens for your connecting flight to your next destination.
