Itinerary Details
Today, you will arrive in Hanoi. When you arrive at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel in our private car.
Have a good rest in the hotel.
Today, your tour guide will take you on a tour of Hanoi's famous Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh was a great leader of the Vietnamese people. After his death, the government decided to build the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in his honor, and to preserve his body for future generations to see. You will also visit other scenic spots, such as the Hanoi Flag Tower and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where you will learn about the customs of various ethnic groups.
After a delicious lunch, your tour guide will take you on a cyclo (a rickshaw) tour through the streets and alleys of Hanoi to see how people live. You can also see lifelike puppet shows on the water, which depict the interesting lives of the local people.
The first stop of the day's tour is Trang An Landscape Complex in Ninh Binh after 2 hours' driving from Hanoi, where you will go boating on the lake. Trang An is surrounded by natural beauty — almost vertical cliffs and dense forests and rice fields. Then, your tour guide will show you the ancient capital of Vietnam Hoa Lu, where you will see many things of historical significance. Next, you will wander by the winding river and take in the beautiful karst landscape.
Return to Hanoi in later afternoon.
On Day 4, you will be transferred to Halong Bay to board the cruise. You will spend the whole day admiring the strange mountains and rocks, the curving waterways, and clear water. You can also enjoy delicious seafood on board. Of course, you can also take part in recreational activities, such as diving and swimming.
This morning, you will visit the biggest cave in Halong Bay, the Sung Sot Cave. The floor area of the cave is huge, and its rock formations are ancient. The cave is attractively lit by colored lights.
After visiting this amazing site, you will leave Halong Bay to Hanoi to take a flight to Danang. From Danang, your guide and driver will meet you and then transfer you to Hoi An, which takes about 40 minutes by car.
Hoi An is famous for its long history and excellent preservation of old streets and alleys; numerous tourists are attracted to this secret land. When you walk along these quiet streets, you will be able appreciate their unique charm. Your tour guide will show you the exotic Japanese Covered Bridge. You will also experience life as a local while wandering through markets and sampling a wide variety of dishes.
After lunch, you will take a canoe ride along Thu Bon River to the famous Than Ha. This village has a long history. You can chat with villagers and learn about their handmade artifacts and artwork.
After breakfast, you will bicycle with your tour guide through the Hoi An countryside, to the Tra Que Vegetable Village. The main plant grown here is a sweet herb. When this herb matures, it can be used as a raw ingredient in many local delicacies. Next, you will change into work clothes and experience the life of farmers, who will teach you how to irrigate and fertilize the herbs by hand. When you feel tired, you can rest under the water wheel, learn to play a traditional musical instrument, or make a snack.
Next, you will fly to Nha Trang. On arriving in this beautiful city, you will be escorted to the hotel. After checking in, you can enjoy some time on the beach. Watching the blue sky, the seagulls flying overhead, and the ships sailing out to sea will make for a calming experience.
You can spend two days relaxing on the beach. Set up a sun umbrella and some water and fruit juice for yourself. You can also engage in recreational activities on the beach and reminisce about the past week of the tour.
Today, you will be transferred to the airport. From there, you will fly to Ho Chi Minh City. On arriving, you will take a private car to the hotel. Have a good rest.
On your first day in the city, your tour guide will show you the famous landmarks of the city, such as Notre Dame Cathedral. After lunch, you will visit War Remnants Museum, which houses many artefacts and narratives from the war.
Then, you will visit the tunnels constructed during the Vietnam War, where, a few decades ago, Vietnamese people had to live. During the war, the tunnels protected civilians and troops from bombs.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a two-hour journey to Vinh Long. There, you can visit the famous Vinh Long Market, where you can witness the simplicity of people's lives. Rich agricultural products from the delta are sold in the market.
After visiting the busy market, you will hop on a sampan and tour the Mekong River. From the boat, you can catch fleeting images of people living harmoniously by the river. You will also feel the coolness of the river from the boat.
You will spend the night at Can Tho.
Today, you will visit a floating market with your tour guide. You will ride in a motorboat through the floating market. All the stalls sell local fruits and vegetables, and vendors hang their best products on bamboo poles to attract customers.
Next, you will visit Can Tho Museum, which houses many ancient exhibits. The tour guide will give you the history of the Mekong River, and information on the different cultures and customs of the local ethnic groups.
Finally, you will be transferred back to Hanoi.
