Itinerary Details
Arrive in Tel Aviv-Yafo and head for Haifa directly. Visit the beautiful Bahai Gardens, located on the slopes of Mount Carmel. You can follow the central trail, a mile of garden steps, to reach the golden-domed Shrine of the Báb. Learn about the contribution of this highly revered Bahaism prophet.
Later, visit the ancient seaside ruin of Caesarea. It was renamed and renovated by Herod the Great during his reign to please the Roman emperor. Your driver will then take you back to your hotel in Tel Aviv-Yafo, where you will stay overnight.
Visit the Diaspora Museum. Known as the Jewish National Museum, this is a unique place that showcases the history, culture, and beliefs of the Jewish people and celebrates their national identity.
Later, you will visit Rabin Square. You will learn about the great achievements of Yitzhak Rabin, the fifth prime minister of Israel, and visit his square, black, granite memorial, which was built upon the place he stood before he was assassinated.
Food markets offer excellent opportunities Explore the Carmel Food Market to experience the daily life of the locals.
After visiting the market, it's time to relax in the tranquil Old City of Yafo.
Ascend to the top of Mount of Olives to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the entire city. Take half a day to explore the many Christian and Jewish churches and historical sites located on its slopes.
Later, walk down the Mount of Olives and visit the Old City of Jerusalem. You will be surprised by the diversity of religions in Jerusalem. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Via Dolorosa, Western Wall, and Dome of the Rock are not to be missed!
On the last day of your tour, you will visit the World Holocaust Remembrance Center — Yad Vashem. This museum was built in memory of the 6 million Jewish people who died in German concentration camps during the Second World War.
The last destination on your tour is Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. See the famous historical monument, the Church of Nativity, which is sure to be a highlight of your trip. You can roam around Manger Square or visit the Chapel of the Milk Grotto.
Your guide will escort you to the Tel Aviv Yafo airport, where you will say farewell to Israel and take your flight back home.
