Sirin is the BEST!
My recent trip to Chiang Mai was nothing short of magical, and our tour guide played a huge part in making it so memorable. From the moment we met, Sirin welcomed us with warm hospitality and an infectious passion for sharing the beauty, history, and culture of northern Thailand. More

Excellent Trip Planning by Alisa Liu at Asia Highlights
Alisa did a wonderful job! She was very detail oriented, extremely responsive and answered my questions very promptly. She incorporated all of the places we wanted to visit and was able to book hotels, airline tickets and special event tickets (to the Chiang Mai CAD Khomloy Sky Lantern Festival which was sold out when I tried booking on my own.) Alisa was great to work with and I recommend that others use her for their trip planning. More

Ying was our guide in Bangkok. She was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She knew exactly how to move us through crowds quickly so that we could see all we wanted to say and made good recommendations for other things we were interested in. I would not hesitate to recommend Ying or anyone that helped us at Asia highlights More

Itinerary Details
After arriving in Cairo, your private guide will escort you to your hotel and assist you with the check-in procedure.
The Giza pyramid complex is where you'll find the immortal monuments of ancient Egypt. Gilded by the sunlight, the weathered statue of the Sphinx still guards the area loyally. Gaze upon these royal mausoleums and recall the glory of the pharaohs' age.
Later, take an in-depth exploration of the Egyptian Museum. You won't cease to be amazed by the 120,000 exhibits there, including the artifacts from the mysterious Tutankhamun.
Visit Wadi Natrun's monasteries which is 100 km to the north east of Cairo. There, you will not only see four monasteries, which have thousands of years of history, but will also get to revere the bodies of the saints.
Then, transfer to the exotic Khan el-Khalili bazaar in Cairo city. Wander along the bustling street and buy some finely made Arabian souvenirs or have a nice cup of coffee in the oldest café, enjoying a moment of peace among the vibrant scenes.
After having a refreshing breakfast in your hotel, you will head to the Sinai Peninsula from Cairo. Then, check in to your hotel and rest up for the night. Lunch is included during your transfer.
Built at the original site of the flaming bush, with over 1,400 years of history, Saint Catherine's Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in the world. Besides the unique geographical location and numerous precious collections, what makes it truly amazing is the never-ending prayers throughout thousands of years and the burning faith and love, even after all the suffering.
You will spend a day there to absorb the rich spiritual energy and immerse yourself in the holy tranquility around you.
After midnight, carry the spirit of Moses and prepare to trek up Mount Sinai. Follow the steps of repentance, visit the temple of God, and finally reach the holy peak — the very place where Moses collected the Ten Commandments. Face the rising morning sun embraced by the light of grace — this will be an unforgettable memory as a true believer.
Next, return to your hotel for breakfast, then set off to Ain Soukhna. Lunch will be served on the way. Later, check in to your hotel then relax by the stunning beach and crystal-clear water.
You will visit two astonishing monasteries that are considered to be the holiest ones by the Coptic Orthodox Church. Set foot in the Monastery of Saint Anthony and admire the Church of Saint Anthony as well as the significant Coptic art. Follow in the steps of the saints to the cave of Saint Anthony where he led an austere life.
Then, visit the Monastery of Saint Paul, which is 85 kilometers away. Feel the serenity there and escape from urban temptations.
Old Cairo is also known as Coptic Cairo. It is famous for numerous ancient Christian churches, including the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus, which was supposedly built upon the site of a crypt where the Holy Family sheltered during their time in Egypt.
After lunch, feel the sanctity and divinity in the Hanging Church. Later, ascend to the Mokattam hills and visit the Cave Church, which is also known as the Monastery of Saint Simon. Marvel at its spectacular structure and beautiful interior murals and hear the story about an ancient miracle that once happened there.
Your guide will escort you to the airport where you will say farewell to Egypt and take your flight back home. Your journey as a pilgrim may have come to an end but what you have gained through this quest will keep on inspiring you.
