What to Wear in Egypt in July
Due to higher temperatures, we recommend wearing lighter colored clothing rather than darker clothing, as well as clothes made using natural materials rather than synthetic materials. For example, we recommend linen trousers or shirts for men, and cotton dresses or shirts, or linen trousers, for women.
Egypt is a conservative country, and you'll need to make sure that you dress accordingly to be respectful. This means covering your knees and shoulders. Due to the strong sun we also recommend a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. (How to Dress Properly in Egypt)
If your trip to Egypt only involves visiting a beach resort, you'll be able to dress less conservatively as the social etiquette there is slightly different. We have prepared some more information for you to read about what to wear in Egypt depending on where and when you are going here, as the customs in Egypt are slightly different to what you might be used to at home.
