June is summer in Egypt, and you'll be able to see this from the increase in temperatures throughout the country. Because of this, we do not recommend visiting some of the warmer cities in Egypt during this time of the year, unless you know you really don't mind the heat.
For Egypt's beach destinations, however, June isn't necessarily a bad time of the year to visit, with fewer crowds, cheaper accommodation, and guaranteed great weather to swim in the Red Sea and go snorkeling or diving.

Excellent Trip Planning by Alisa Liu at Asia Highlights
Alisa did a wonderful job! She was very detail oriented, extremely responsive and answered my questions very promptly. She incorporated all of the places we wanted to visit and was able to book hotels, airline tickets and special event tickets (to the Chiang Mai CAD Khomloy Sky Lantern Festival which was sold out when I tried booking on my own.) Alisa was great to work with and I recommend that others use her for their trip planning. More

Ying was our guide in Bangkok. She was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She knew exactly how to move us through crowds quickly so that we could see all we wanted to say and made good recommendations for other things we were interested in. I would not hesitate to recommend Ying or anyone that helped us at Asia highlights More

In terms of temperatures, you are looking at higher temperatures in June, which is the start of summer in Egypt. Especially in the cities of Luxor and Aswan, you can expect a highs of around 41°C (105°F). For this reason, we do not recommend visiting Luxor or Aswan in the summer in Egypt, as the higher temperatures make sightseeing less pleasant, unless you are used to this type of weather.
For the beachside cities of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, temperatures are not quite as high as Luxor or Aswan, hitting a high of 36°C (96°F) and 37°C (99°F). This makes for great beach weather, so if you're just visiting Egypt for those warm summer days on the beach, June might be a good time of year to consider.

Crowds and Cost
June is typically not one of the more popular months to visit Egypt, which also means that crowds are slightly less and prices are lower throughout the country.
You can expect to pay less both for your flights as well as your accommodation in Egypt at this time of the year, and there will likely be fewer tourist groups at the big sights such as the Pyramids of Giza. However, with them being some of the most popular destinations in the entire world, there will still always be some crowds there, regardless of the time of year and the temperature.

What to Wear in Egypt in June
During your visit to Egypt in June, we recommend wearing more natural materials and fewer synthetic materials to keep cool. Something like long linen trousers and cotton lightweight shirts, or a longer dress, are a good option for your time in Egypt.
Although temperatures are high, Egyptians dress on the conservative side and you'll be expected to cover your knees and shoulders to show respect, especially for women visiting Egypt. If you are only going to a beach resort, you are not expected to dress as conservatively, as hotel beaches are more relaxed in their expectations. (How to Dress Properly in Egypt)
Lighter colors are also recommended over darker colors on sunny days, and it's a good idea to bring a hat and sunscreen, as well as sunglasses. If you're planning on walking around a lot, wearing supportive trainers is preferable over flip flops, regardless of the heat, as many of the tourist sights are dusty and require a bit of walking.
You can get more information about what to wear in Egypt depending on where and when you are going here, as the customs in Egypt are slightly different to what you might be used to at home.
